I don’t ever watch football but there wasn’t really anything on when my family sat down for dinner but I remembered that American Thanksgiving means sports so ig let’s watch the NFL today. Really entertaining second half, some awesome moments from both teams. Huge takedown against Mahomes before KC’s last touchdown. Great 2pt attempt from Dallas to extend the lead. Not being a football watcher idk what the last two min were all about. Why did they spike it and then immediately stop play? Anyone able to tell me the reason? Fun watch, good change of pace from my usual hockey, next game I watch will probably be the Super Bowl.

I think you’re referring to the kneel down by the Cowboys after they converted their final first down on that great catch by Pickens. That’s what’s known as “victory formation” and effectively guarantees a win for the Cowboys by running the clock out and preventing injuries. They did that because the play clock (time you are alotted to run a single play on offense) exceeded the game clock (time remaining in the game overall) and the Chiefs were out of timeouts so they couldn’t stop the clock and force the Cowboys to actually run plays. Idk if this made any sense whatsoever lol but you and the fam def saw a good one!
