@FlameRaptorRaven's rating of Blues vs Golden Knights

@FlameRaptorRaven rated the Blues vs Golden Knights game 4.3 out of 10 in NHL on January 11, 2026. Final score: Blues 2 – Golden Knights 4. Reg. Season. Fan ratings and discussion on RateGame.

Despite how it looks on the scoreboard, this was unfortunately mostly one-sided. After Robert Thomas got the game’s first goal off a lucky bounce off the boards, it was ALLLLL Vegas. The Blues basically flatlined for the rest of the 1st period before squirming to show they are still alive in the 2nd. Meanwhile the Vegas Golden Knights were doing cartwheels and jumping jacks. That is to say they were proficient in the basics, just not extraordinary. The Blues finally showed more life in the 3rd and cut the lead to one. Sadly, right when I thought we were gonna get some 6-on-5 theatrics, Mark Stone stole the puck and scored to give him a 7-game goal streak, the longest in Vegas’s brief team history. While most of Vegas was just solid, there was one guy who really stood out. Mitch Marner was terrific, both passing and scoring was a joy to watch, making that contract look like a bargain. Just wish the Blues had played it as close in the ice as it looked on the scoreboard at times.
