“WHAT A COMEBACK, WHAT A SHOT AND WHAT A SHOT INTO THE ARMS OF COLLEGE BASKETBALL FANS EVERYWHERE! This game had the potential to be a slugfest. The first half certainly was; except only 1 Husky could take the punches and throw their own back. Duke led 22-16 after 8 minutes in the first half, but it fell apart quickly. By the end of the first half, the Boozer twins had 27 points and UConn had 29 while Duke held a 15-point lead. It was pretty clear who was going to win this game. Even then, Tarris Reed played his ass off. He could’ve been screaming at his teammates to give him any support and he’d be totally justified. He was pretty much the only reason UConn had a chance and he deserves a mountain of credit for his efforts. He just couldn’t do it alone. Luckily for him, UConn finally gave him the support he desperately needed. They finally gave him the 3s and made their open shots he created for them and in the final seconds, Braylon Mullins stole the ball and crushed Blue Devil dreams.”
