MLB World Series10/30/2025
A historic game in more ways than one. 2 Home Runs in 3 pitches. Unbelievable way to start. Especially in a game where the Dodgers needed Snell to give them a deep start. First time a team has started a World Series game with back-to-back homers. Massive statement from the Jays. Somehow, that isn’t the most impressive thing that happened tonight. Trey ‘The Savage’ Yesavage was absolutely dealing in legendary fashion. He set the all time record for most Ks thrown by a rookie pitcher in a World Series game, breaking Don Newcombe’s 76 year-old record. On top of that history, Trey Yesavage didn’t walk anyone (only pitcher to ever do that) and allowed just 1 extra base hit. One of the best and greatest pitching performances in World Series history. Blake Snell, while not terrible, was certainly below his elite standard. Although, to be fair to him, very few could overcome Yesavage’s legendary performance. Jays get a nice insurance rally to put themselves 1 win away from a World Series.
