Very high intensity game from the very beginning. Ron Holland and Devin Vassel were the first ones to get going on offense. Jalen Duren had some very high effort plays and top tier paint defense, he wasn’t afraid to go at wemby on many possessions. Now it may look like Cade had a bad game, he shot 5/26 today. In my opinion Cade just didn’t have enough shooting from the other players like Daniss Jenkins, Javonte Green and Duncan Robinson, so Cade ended up forcing and taking a lot of shots that he shouldn’t have. There needs to be consistent shooting for the pistons come playoff time, because it will be much harder to get points in the paint against good defenses. Even though Victor Wembanyama had an offensive night, shooting 37% from the field wemby impacted the game so much on defense and made it much harder for the offense to get easy layups at the rim. Victor Wembanyama leads the way for the spurs with 21 points, 17 rebounds and 6 blocks. He now has 1+ blocks against every NBA team.
