Iowa State gets revenge against KU with their own double digit win. A great win for them before they play Houston on Monday. On the other hand, Kansas didn’t look like what they have been in the past month. Darryn Peterson didn’t have a great game and I know this sounds crazy, but they might be worse with him on the floor. I feel like when he’s not playing they play with so much more chemistry and play better overall. I don’t really know how to judge this team. I think if they have much higher upside with Darryn Peterson on the floor but I don’t think they are a final four team. I think their ceiling is either the sweet 16 or elite 8. I do have pretty good confidence that they will make it to the second weekend however. Recently (other than this game), they have been one of the top teams in the country even without their best player playing fully healthy. It’s kind of wild to think how good this team is even without Peterson fully healthy, who is going to go #1 or #2 in the draft.
