“Holy cow, going into the 8th inning, I was ready to give this game a 2 or 3 as it looked like an easy Astros win. But it’s amazing how easily baseball games can swing the other way as the Rangers almost scraped out a comeback. Sadly, the Astros held on and this game may have pushed the Rangers out of playoff contention permanently, barring a losing streak for one of the AL Wildcard teams. Astros pounced early thanks to Pena and Altuve especially and the Rangers relied on Hagashioka, Jung and even Adolis for their hits. Crazy stuff.”
