Third and final game of THE GEORGE, my triple-header today where I saw games at George Mason, George Washington, and Georgetown in the span of six hours. Gritty game that wasn’t the most fun watch. Some pretty good defense, especially from Seton Hall, but these offenses left a lot to be desired. Georgetown led for 30 minutes total in this one, but they lost because they couldn’t shoot, couldn’t break a press, and couldn’t stop Budd Clark from going sicko mode for 22 points even though he’s 5’9” at best. Vibes afterward were not good. Ed Cooley was pretty down on himself in the presser.
