“In a game with David Pastrnak, Adrian Kempe and other stars (including the goalies), Morgan Geekie CLEARLY stood out in this game. The first couple periods were back and forth with Swayman and Kuemper holding it down, keeping the score even. This game really picked up in the 3rd. Morgan Geekie’s blast finally broke the deadlock and right when it looked like Boston were gonna add to their lead, LA got a timely turnover and Joel Armia tied it with a shorthanded goal. Then in OT, Geekie with another well-placed shot to win it. Shoutout Zadorov too. Not just the two assists, but he was also rock solid defensively tonight, even took the puck away from Byfield to send the puck up to Pasta who got it to Geekie for the OT winner. Fun game. ”
