“It was insane to see Jacob Young do that twice with my own eyeballs. Unfortunately, I was seeing Jacob Young do that twice with my own eyeballs. Incredibly painful game primarily because it felt like we were so close the entire time and also because it means that October is that much farther away. While I hope that he's a Met next year, there's a real possibility that this was the last time that Pete Alonso plays at Citi Field as a Met. It's a heartbreaking thought, but I'm just glad that it was a good AB. Glad to have fun with my buds.”

It was insane to see Jacob Young do that twice with my own eyeballs. Unfortunately, I was seeing Jacob Young do that twice with my own eyeballs. Incredibly painful game primarily because it felt like we were so close the entire time and also because it means that October is that much farther away. While I hope that he's a Met next year, there's a real possibility that this was the last time that Pete Alonso plays at Citi Field as a Met. It's a heartbreaking thought, but I'm just glad that it was a good AB. Glad to have fun with my buds.
