“This seemed like it was on track to overtake Japan-Netherlands as the best game of the World Cup so far. Harry Kane got a second try on a penalty due to a rule that I personally think is BS, but whatever. Croatia scored an absolute beauty to equalize, only for Harry Kane to score his second off a corner. Croatia wouldn't give up though, and in the 45+5th minute, right before half they made sure it went into half tied. Jude Bellingham didn't like that though, and 90 seconds in gave England the lead right back. Then, all of a sudden, the Croatian goalkeeper put up the greatest 10 minutes of his life. And from that moment on, they just stopped scoring all the way until the 85th minute, and it was only England to make it 4-2. Honestly kind of a boring end to the game. What I loved about Japan-Netherlands is that all of the goals were late in the game. This game just didn't have the end of game magic like Japan-Netherlands did.”
