@FlameRaptorRaven's rating of Chargers vs Patriots

@FlameRaptorRaven rated the Chargers vs Patriots game 4.9 out of 10 in NFL on January 12, 2026. Final score: Chargers 3 – Patriots 16. Wild Card. Fan ratings and discussion on RateGame.

Football gods decided we had too much good football and regressed us back to the mean with this one. Thankfully, this wasn’t too bad, but compared to all the other playoff games so far, it was a dud. Neither QB had a good day and it was mainly thanks to both respective pass rushes harassing them all day long. The Chargers you expect that to happen, not the Patriots. It’s indicative of how the Chargers had chances to win this game or make it close to the very end. They just failed to capitalize. Like I alluded to, the O-line did them 0 favours and I will never waver from that. Herbert couldn’t make plays with his arms and relied more on his legs, in part due to the O-line. Receivers were dropping passes, running backs couldn’t break tackles and the offense as a whole was out-of-sorts. I can only imagine Jesse Minter was furious. Maybe he wants to leave and join a different team, idk, just thinking aloud. In all seriousness, Pats offense didn’t play much better, still got the job done.
