@FlameRaptorRaven's rating of Hurricanes vs Flyers

@FlameRaptorRaven rated the Hurricanes vs Flyers game 6.3 out of 10 in NHL on May 8, 2026. Final score: Hurricanes 4 – Flyers 1. R2. Fan ratings and discussion on RateGame.

The Flyers managed to hang in this game for quite a while, but the Hurricanes eventually broke them down. Rod the Bod is showing his former teammate who is boss. Philadelphia is not the only team that can throw the body and find goals. Carolina knows one man who has more experience in that than almost any other player in the NHL today. Jordan Staal looked like he was back to being an extremely overqualified 3rd line centre with the 2008 Penguins as he scrapped his way to a goal and an assist. That assist came on a shorthanded goal that clearly broke the backs of the Flyers. To Philly’s credit, it wash’t a simple as it looked on paper. The Flyers hit what felt like a million posts. There were some close calls. Too bad close doesn’t mean squat in the Stanley Cup playoffs, especially against the machine known as the Carolina Hurricanes. Frederik Andersen also continues to strengthen his Conn Smythe case and Slavin is the one-man fortress. The Hurricanes look strong. Flyers may be screwed.
