This game was honestly probably a high 3, Habs make a game better than it is, even with the Flames seemingly trying to make this boring by making this game slow and playing like crap. However, I’m putting this in the red because this game brought up some bitter feelings in me. Best part of this game was Hunter Brzustewicz getting his first career point with a secondary assist and William Stromgren making his debut. While I’m never happy to see my Flames lose, just looking at their opponent tonight, it’s clear that losing is the best direction right now. Don Maloney and Murray Edwards will not accept reality until it is unavoidable. WELL HERE YOU GO, Flames got outplayed and outworked by a young Habs team that has a ton of promise. The Flames need both high end talent and to get rid of the log jams within the organization. Brzustewicz, Yan Kuznetsov and Zayne Parekh should all be permanent fixtures in the D-core. Trade Ras, move Pachal, Bean, Hanley, whoever it takes! WAKE UP
