The Alamodome is a domed stadium in San Antonio, Texas, and the home of the UTSA Roadrunners football program. The large multipurpose venue hosts UTSA home games as well as major bowl games, concerts, and championship events. Its cavernous, retractable-capacity bowl lets it flex between an intimate college-football setting and a full-scale championship arena.
Opened in 1993, the Alamodome has staged the Alamo Bowl, multiple NCAA Men's Final Fours, and other marquee events over its history, and gave UTSA football a big-stage home from the program's inaugural 2011 season. It has also hosted San Antonio Spurs games during past arena transitions and remains one of the city's signature large-event venues.
