Millett Hall

Millett Hall is the home arena of the Miami RedHawks men's and women's basketball and volleyball teams in Oxford, Ohio. Named for the university's 16th president, it is a fixture of Miami University athletics in the Mid-American Conference and also houses athletic department and ROTC offices.

Opened on December 2, 1968 at a cost of roughly $7.5 million, Millett Hall has hosted RedHawks basketball for more than five decades. Its basketball seating has since been reconfigured down from the original 9,200 to a more intimate roughly 6,400 for games. In February 2026, Miami's board of trustees approved a $281 million replacement arena at the Cook Field site, planned to open for the 2028-29 season and eventually succeed Millett Hall.
