CU Events Center

The CU Events Center is the on-campus arena for the Colorado Buffaloes men's and women's basketball teams in Boulder, Colorado. The arena sits in the shadow of the Flatirons on the University of Colorado campus, giving fans a scenic mountain backdrop rare among college hoops venues. It also hosts commencement ceremonies, concerts, and other university gatherings when basketball isn't in session.

Opened in 1979 and known for years as the Coors Events Center, the building has hosted Buffaloes basketball through the program's Big Eight, Big 12, and Pac-12 conference eras. It was renamed the CU Events Center in 2018 after a long-running naming-rights arrangement with the Coors family ended. The arena remains the primary campus gathering space for CU athletics and student events.
