Amon G. Carter Stadium

Amon G. Carter Stadium is the home of TCU Horned Frogs football in Fort Worth, Texas. Named for the Fort Worth publisher and philanthropist who helped fund its original construction, it has hosted TCU football since 1930 and was largely rebuilt in a donor-funded project completed in 2012. Its tight, close-to-the-field bowl and purple-and-white sightlines give it one of the more distinctive atmospheres in the Big 12.

Originally opened in 1930, the stadium was completely reconstructed in a $164 million renovation that reopened in 2012, and was TCU's home during the program's run to the College Football Playoff National Championship Game following the 2022 season. A further East side expansion completed in 2019 brought seating to its current capacity. Across nearly a century, the stadium has stood at the center of TCU's rise from regional program to national championship contender.
