Boone Pickens Stadium is the home of the Oklahoma State Cowboys football team in Stillwater, Oklahoma. It is one of the premier facilities in the Big 12, known for its modern amenities, orange-clad crowds, and the annual Bedlam rivalry with Oklahoma. Renovations over the past two decades transformed a once-modest field into one of college football's most lavish venues.
The stadium dates to 1920 as Lewis Field, the oldest playing field in the Big 12. Oklahoma State's 2001 upset of rival Oklahoma in the Bedlam Series sparked interest in a major overhaul, funded by a landmark $165 million gift from alumnus and oilman T. Boone Pickens, and the stadium was renamed and rededicated in his honor in 2003 and again in 2009. Along the way it has hosted an NFL preseason game between the Browns and Falcons (1976) and USFL games in the 1980s, and in April 2025 the four-night 'Boys from Oklahoma' concert series drew more than 200,000 fans.
