Truist Arena is the home of the Northern Kentucky Norse basketball teams in Highland Heights, Kentucky. Opened in 2008 as the Bank of Kentucky Center, it serves Northern Kentucky University in the Horizon League with a modern bowl that has grown louder as the program has climbed the Division I ranks. Its riverside-region location makes it a regular draw for both Cincinnati- and Kentucky-area fans. The arena hosts Norse men's and women's basketball plus campus commencement events.
Previously known as the Bank of Kentucky Center (2008-2015) and BB&T Arena (2015-2022) before its 2022 rebrand to Truist Arena following BB&T's merger with SunTrust, the building has hosted NKU's transition to Division I and its rise as a Horizon League contender. It served as the home court for the Norse's first NCAA Tournament appearance in 2022. The venue's three name changes track a decade and a half of regional bank consolidation. It remains the anchor of Northern Kentucky's growing athletics program.
