Charles Koch Arena

Charles Koch Arena is the home of Wichita State Shockers basketball in Wichita, Kansas. It is one of the loudest mid-major basketball environments in the country, with fans packed close to the court, and serves as the centerpiece of Shocker athletics year-round.

The building opened in 1955 as the university's field house, later known as Levitt Arena, before being renovated and renamed Charles Koch Arena in 2003. It was the home court during Wichita State's celebrated run under coach Gregg Marshall, including the 2013 team that reached the Final Four before falling to eventual champion Louisville, and the 2013-14 squad that finished the regular season undefeated. That era cemented the arena's reputation as one of college basketball's toughest true road environments.
