Parc des Princes

Parc des Princes in Paris is the home of Paris Saint-Germain and one of European football's most historic grounds, a tight, steep-sided bowl in the 16th arrondissement where the crowd sits directly on top of the pitch. PSG's star-studded squads and the Auteuil and Boulogne supporter culture make it one of the most glamorous and vocal venues in the Champions League. Its central Paris location gives it a unique urban character among Europe's elite stadiums.

Opened in 1972, Parc des Princes hosted the 1984 European Championship final, 1998 World Cup matches, and decades of PSG football from the Canal+ era through the Qatari ownership transformation. It was France's national stadium before the Stade de France opened in 1998. As a Club World Cup venue it represents the capital of French football.
