Jack Trice Stadium

Jack Trice Stadium is the home of Iowa State Cyclones football in Ames. The venue hosts Big 12 competition. It is named for Jack Trice, Iowa State's first African American athlete.

Opened in 1975, expanded repeatedly. Named for Jack Trice who died from injuries in a 1923 game. The stadium has been the site of memorable Cyclones moments. Jack Trice Stadium honors a pioneering figure.
