Overview
Exactech Arena at the Stephen C. O'Connell Center is the home of the Florida Gators basketball teams in Gainesville, Florida. Known on campus as the 'O-Dome' for its distinctive domed roof, it seats just over 10,000 for basketball and creates one of the louder, more concentrated crowds in the SEC. The venue also regularly hosts Gators volleyball, gymnastics, and major campus events.
History & Legacy
Opened in 1980 and named for former University of Florida president Stephen C. O'Connell, the O'Connell Center hosted the Gators during their back-to-back NCAA men's basketball championships in 2006 and 2007. A major renovation completed in 2016 added the Exactech Arena naming-rights name and modernized the building's concourses, seating, and premium spaces for the SEC era.

This has to be the biggest feeling 10,000 seat arena I’ve ever seen. Seriously it feels closer to 20,000 than it does to 10,000.
Every viewing angle is great, and it perfectly walks the line between a college and professional feeling stadium.
When the gator boys are hot, this place rocks.

Honestly awesome & so pleasantly surprised.
Campus is insane stunning, stadium is the perfect size (10.5K) & right on campus in easy to get to spot near all the bars and housing and Greek life and football stadium.
Students were electric and student section is very good. Tradition was strong great songs and light show & all in the stadium. Had a great time, 9.5 is nothing small at all so shout out to Florida!!!

Big fan of this arena, my original seat however was obstructed to the max. Like unreal that they even sell that as a seat. Energy is great, cool concession and concourses too.
