Moody Coliseum is the home of the SMU Mustangs basketball teams in University Park, Texas. The historic on-campus arena hosts men's and women's basketball and was extensively modernized in the 2010s. Its compact bowl keeps fans near the court, giving Moody a reputation as one of the tighter, louder venues in the American and now ACC. The arena also hosts volleyball and campus events.
Opened in 1956, the arena underwent a major renovation completed in 2014 that added modern concourses, seating, and premium spaces while preserving its classic Georgian exterior. It is named for the Moody Foundation, longtime benefactors of SMU. The building has been part of SMU basketball across multiple conference eras, including the program's move to the ACC.
