Target Center

Target Center in downtown Minneapolis is the shared home of the NBA's Timberwolves and the WNBA's Lynx, a renovated arena that anchors the city's entertainment district along Nicollet Mall. The building's recent overhaul modernized concourses and seating while preserving one of the NBA's more intimate lower bowls. When both teams are in town, Target Center is the heartbeat of Minnesota basketball.

Target Center opened in 1990 and underwent a major renovation completed in 2017. The Lynx's dynasty — four WNBA titles between 2011 and 2017 — made it one of the most successful multi-team arenas in the country. The Timberwolves' resurgence in the 2020s has brought renewed energy to the building, which has also hosted NCAA tournament games and major concerts.
