Pizzitola Sports Center

The Pizzitola Sports Center is the home of Brown University Bears basketball in Providence, Rhode Island. It serves as the Ivy League school's primary indoor athletics venue, also hosting Brown volleyball, wrestling, and gymnastics. The compact bowl keeps fans close to the court, giving Ivy League games here an intimate, small-gym feel. It sits on Brown's Pizzitola Memorial complex alongside the school's other athletic facilities.

Dedicated in April 1989 and named in memory of Paul Bailey Pizzitola, the center replaced the aging Marvel Gymnasium as Brown's home basketball facility. It seats about 2,800 and has hosted Brown's Ivy League basketball, volleyball, and wrestling programs for over three decades. The building's modest size reflects Ivy League athletics' emphasis on academics-first competition over big-arena spectacle. It remains the anchor of Brown's on-campus indoor sports complex.
