FIU Stadium

FIU Stadium, now branded Pitbull Stadium, is the home of FIU Panthers football on the Florida International University campus in Miami, Florida. It serves FIU's Conference USA program with a compact, on-campus bowl that keeps fans close to the field. The 2024 naming-rights partnership with Miami-born global recording artist Pitbull gave the stadium a distinctly local, only-in-Miami identity. Game days blend South Florida's Latin-influenced fan culture with the energy of a rising Group of Five program.

The stadium opened in 1995 and has been expanded over the years to reach its current 20,000-seat capacity as FIU football grew from a startup program into an FBS member. In 2024, Pitbull acquired the naming rights in a first-of-its-kind deal making it the first U.S. athletics venue named for an individual recording artist, with the partnership including social media promotion, an FIU anthem, and annual appearances. The rebrand to Pitbull Stadium has raised the program's national visibility well beyond its on-field results. It remains the centerpiece of FIU's athletic campus alongside the university's basketball and Olympic sports facilities.
