The Palestra is the historic home of the Penn Quakers basketball teams in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Known as the 'Cathedral of College Basketball,' it is one of the most revered venues in the sport.
History & Legacy
Opened in 1927 on the University of Pennsylvania campus, it has hosted more games, teams, and NCAA tournaments than any other facility in college basketball history and is the longtime home of Philadelphia's Big 5 doubleheaders.
