The Stroh Center is the home of the Bowling Green Falcons basketball programs on the campus of Bowling Green State University in Ohio. It hosts the Falcons in the Mid-American Conference in a modern, roughly 4,400-seat arena that also serves campus events and volleyball. The building's sleek, contemporary design and intimate seating bowl put fans right on top of the action, giving the Falcons a strong home-court advantage in MAC play. It has quickly become one of the league's more atmospheric mid-major venues.
Opened in 2011 and named for the Stroh family in recognition of a lead donation, the arena replaced the aging Anderson Arena as the Falcons' home court. It gave Bowling Green a modern facility to match its MAC ambitions in both men's and women's basketball. The Stroh Center has also hosted volleyball matches, concerts, and campus commencement ceremonies. It represents a significant upgrade in Bowling Green State's athletic facilities compared to its mid-20th-century predecessor.
