Mitchell Center

The Mitchell Center is the home arena of the South Alabama Jaguars basketball program on the University of South Alabama campus in Mobile, Alabama. It is the university's primary indoor venue, hosting men's and women's basketball along with graduation ceremonies and community events. Its sizable bowl gives South Alabama one of the bigger home-court capacities in the Sun Belt Conference.

The arena opened in 1999, giving the Jaguars a modern, purpose-built home for Sun Belt basketball after years in smaller facilities. Its roughly 10,000-seat bowl has made it a regular host for conference tournament games and regional events beyond athletics. It remains South Alabama's flagship indoor facility more than two decades after opening.
