Amica Mutual Pavilion is a downtown arena in Providence, Rhode Island, and the home court of the Providence College Friars men's basketball team. Long known as the Dunkin' Donuts Center, or simply "The Dunk," the building also hosts concerts, family shows, and the AHL's Providence Bruins. Its downtown location gives Friars games a big-city, pro-arena feel rather than a typical campus gym. The Dunk has a reputation as one of the tougher true road environments in the Big East.
Opened in 1972 as the Providence Civic Center, the arena was built to accommodate ticket demand for Friars basketball that the campus's Alumni Hall could no longer handle. It became Dunkin' Donuts Center in 2001 and took its current name, Amica Mutual Pavilion, in 2022 after Amica Mutual Insurance acquired the naming rights. Beyond Friars basketball, the building has hosted Big East Tournament games, the AHL Providence Bruins, and touring concerts and family shows for more than 50 years. It remains one of New England's busiest multi-purpose arenas.
