Wallace Wade Stadium

Wallace Wade Stadium is the home of the Duke Blue Devils football team in Durham, North Carolina. It is named for legendary Duke coach Wallace Wade and sits on the university's West Campus, framed by the surrounding forest that gives the stadium a distinctive wooded backdrop. Duke home games bring an ACC crowd into a historic bowl with more than nine decades of college football history.

The stadium opened in 1929 and hosted the 1942 Rose Bowl, the only Rose Bowl ever played outside Pasadena, relocated to Durham due to wartime security restrictions after Pearl Harbor. It has been renovated over the decades while retaining its historic bowl character, and remains one of the oldest stadiums still in use in major college football. It continues to serve as Duke's ACC football home nearly a century after opening.
