Elliott T. Bowers Stadium is the home of the Sam Houston Bearkats football team in Huntsville, Texas. The 14,000-seat, on-campus stadium hosts the program as it competes at the FBS level in Conference USA, drawing on a fan base built during the Bearkats' dominant FCS playoff era.
The stadium is named for Elliott T. Bowers, a former president of Sam Houston State University, and has been the Bearkats' home since it opened on September 13, 1986. It was the site of the program's FCS national championship era, including the 2011 FCS semifinal win over Montana in front of over 12,000 fans, back-to-back title-game runs in 2011 and 2012, and the 2020-21 FCS national championship season, during which the Bearkats went undefeated at home in the playoffs. The program has since moved up to FBS and Conference USA.
