Firestone Fieldhouse

Firestone Fieldhouse is the home of the Pepperdine Waves basketball program in Malibu, California. The arena sits on Pepperdine's coastal campus overlooking the Pacific, giving it one of the most scenic backdrops in West Coast Conference basketball. Its small capacity keeps Waves games intimate and loud despite the postcard setting outside.

Built for $2.5 million, the fieldhouse hosted its first event in November 1973, a home loss to Pacific, and was formally dedicated on September 20, 1975, by President Gerald R. Ford before a crowd of 18,000. Its Malibu setting has made it a landmark venue in West Coast Conference basketball for five decades. The building doubles as a graduation and lecture venue when configured beyond its standard basketball seating.
