Legacy Center

The Legacy Center is the home arena for the McNeese State Cowboys and Cowgirls basketball teams in Lake Charles, Louisiana. The arena is part of a larger $41 million health and human performance complex on the McNeese State University campus, also housing a 500-seat volleyball court.

Opened in 2018 as part of that 145,000-square-foot complex, the Legacy Center gave McNeese basketball a modern on-campus home and supported the Cowboys' Southland Conference competition. In October 2025 it was renamed Townsley Law Arena under a $4.5 million, 15-year naming-rights deal with the Townsley Law Firm, believed to be the largest basketball-arena naming-rights agreement in Southland Conference history.
