Overview
Hawkins Arena is the home of the Mercer Bears basketball teams in Macon, Georgia. Part of the Mercer University Center that opened in 2004, it serves the Bears in the Southern Conference.
History & Legacy
The arena was renamed Hawkins Arena in 2012 to honor coach and athletic director J.B. Hawkins. Mercer's program gained national attention with a memorable NCAA Tournament upset of Duke in 2014.
