Swisher Gymnasium is the historic on-campus home of the Jacksonville Dolphins basketball teams at Jacksonville University in Jacksonville, Florida.

History & Legacy

Built in 1953 and seating roughly 1,360, the intimate gym is named for cigar magnate and university benefactor Carl S. Swisher.

Probably the smallest gym I’ve been in so far but definitely cool. Tons of green, great historic pieces in what I would call the lobby, and awesome dolphins signage all over.
