Allen Arena is the home of Lipscomb University's basketball and volleyball programs on the school's campus in Nashville, Tennessee. It seats about 5,000 and serves as the centerpiece of the Allen Bowl complex, hosting the Bisons in the ASUN Conference. Beyond athletics, the arena is Lipscomb's primary gathering space for chapel services and university convocations. Its intimate size keeps Bisons games close and loud for ASUN play.
Opened on October 28, 2001 with an area-wide worship service that drew more than 5,000 people, Allen Arena is named for benefactors James C. and Linda Allen. The venue gave Lipscomb a modern home as the program built toward NCAA Division I membership. It briefly hosted the Nashville Rhythm of the American Basketball Association and continues to serve Nashville as a venue for concerts and community events.
