Lloyd Noble Center is the home of Oklahoma Sooners basketball in Norman, hosting the men's and women's programs along with gymnastics. The multi-purpose arena anchors OU's basketball program a short drive south of Oklahoma City. Its large bowl has held some of the loudest crowds in Big 12 basketball during Oklahoma's biggest seasons.
Opened on October 27, 1975, the arena has been home court for generations of Sooners basketball, including the 1988 team that fell just short of the national title in the championship game against Kansas. It was also the home floor during the Buddy Hield-led 2015-16 season that carried Oklahoma to the Final Four, with the arena regularly drawing crowds near capacity that year. Stars from Wayman Tisdale to Blake Griffin to Trae Young have all called it home.
