Gainbridge Fieldhouse in downtown Indianapolis is the home of the NBA's Pacers and the WNBA's Fever, a renovated arena on Pennsylvania Street that anchors the city's sports corridor alongside Lucas Oil Stadium. The building's 2019 renovation added premium spaces and modernized concourses while preserving one of the NBA's more raucous home crowds. When the Fever and Pacers both contend, Indianapolis becomes a true basketball city.
Opened in 1999 as Conseco Fieldhouse, the arena has hosted NCAA Final Fours, NBA playoffs, and the Fever's 2012 WNBA championship. It was renamed Gainbridge Fieldhouse in 2021 and hosted the 2024 WNBA All-Star Game as Caitlin Clark's Fever drew record crowds. The Pacers' small-market loyalty and the Fever's resurgence have made it one of the most energized multi-team arenas in the country.
