Bank of Colorado Arena, part of the Butler-Hancock Athletic Center, is the home of the Northern Colorado Bears basketball teams in Greeley, Colorado. It is an intimate venue seating roughly 3,000 fans, giving Big Sky Conference games a close, high-energy feel. Beyond basketball, the building also hosts Bears volleyball, wrestling, and indoor track and field, making it the athletic hub of the UNC campus.
Opened February 4, 1975 as Butler-Hancock Hall, the building was named for longtime Northern Colorado coaches Pete Butler and John W. Hancock. It was rebranded the Butler-Hancock Sports Pavilion in the mid-2000s before the university signed a 15-year naming-rights deal with Bank of Colorado in 2014, giving the arena its current name. Through every name change it has remained the Bears' home for Big Sky Conference basketball, volleyball, and wrestling.
