Overview

The Gentry Center is the basketball home of the Tennessee State Tigers in Nashville, Tennessee. The multi-purpose complex serves the HBCU program's men's and women's basketball teams.

History & Legacy

It opened in 1980 and is named for Howard C. Gentry Sr., a longtime TSU professor, coach, and athletic director. The Tigers played their first game there in December 1980, beating Austin Peay.
