Trojan Arena is the home of Troy Trojans basketball, volleyball, and track at Troy University in Troy, Alabama. Its modern design and chair-back seating make it one of the more contemporary facilities in the Sun Belt Conference, and it also serves as the university's venue for commencement and other special events. The arena gives Troy fans a compact, energetic setting close to the court.
Completed in 2012, Trojan Arena replaced Sartain Hall, Troy's longtime basketball and events facility that had opened in 1962. Seating 6,000, with a 5,200 chair-back main bowl plus a student bleacher section, it drew its largest crowd of 5,120 for a 2012 win over Mississippi State decided on a last-second shot. Since opening, it has been considered one of the more modern basketball facilities in the region and remains the centerpiece of Troy's athletics campus.
