GCU Arena

GCU Arena is the home of the Grand Canyon Antelopes basketball teams at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. The roughly 7,000-seat arena is renowned for one of the loudest, most raucous student sections in mid-major college basketball. GCU competes in the WAC, and the Havocs' organized chants and full-capacity crowds have made the arena a genuine road hazard for visiting teams. It has become a signature piece of GCU's rapid athletics build-out.

Opened in 2011, GCU Arena has grown into one of college basketball's most feared mid-major environments thanks to its student section, 'The Havocs,' whose coordinated noise and theatrics regularly rank among the loudest in the country. The arena has anchored Grand Canyon's rise from NAIA and Division II membership into a nationally relevant Division I program. Its atmosphere has drawn national media attention as GCU basketball has built a reputation as an upset-minded WAC power.
