Citi Field in Queens is the home of the Mets, its brick facade and Jackie Robinson Rotunda entrance deliberately echoing Brooklyn's old Ebbets Field. Inside, the ballpark opens up to sweeping views of the Manhattan skyline from the upper deck, a signature look among modern MLB parks. Fans pass through the rotunda's engraved Robinson quotes on the way to their seats, a daily reminder of the borough's baseball history. It's also become a major concert venue, drawing some of music's biggest tours in the offseason.

Citi Field opened April 13, 2009, succeeding Shea Stadium as the home of New York's National League club, with the Jackie Robinson Rotunda formally dedicated two days later as part of MLB's Jackie Robinson Day. It hosted the 2013 MLB All-Star Game and backed the Mets' run to the 2015 World Series. Paul McCartney played some of the ballpark's first concerts in 2009, deliberately tying it back to the Beatles' famous 1965 Shea Stadium show. It's since hosted major tours from Beyonce, Lady Gaga, BTS, and others, cementing its dual life as both a ballpark and a top-tier concert destination.
