McLane Stadium

McLane Stadium is the football home of the Baylor Bears in Waco, Texas, sitting on the north bank of the Brazos River adjacent to campus. It hosts Big 12 football with sweeping river and skyline views built into its open-end design. Its riverside setting makes for one of the more scenic game-day backdrops in college football.

The $260 million stadium opened on August 31, 2014, replacing Floyd Casey Stadium after 64 seasons there, with Baylor christening it by beating SMU 45-0. It is best known for 'sailgating' in the Baylor Basin, where fans arrive by boat and dock along the Brazos for pregame tailgates, a rare feature among major college football venues. Just over a decade in, it remains one of the sport's most distinctive settings.
