Curb Event Center Arena

The Curb Event Center Arena is the home of Belmont Bruins basketball and volleyball in Nashville, Tennessee, sitting at the heart of Belmont University's campus just off Music Row. The oval-shaped, 5,000-seat arena features a permanent maple hardwood floor and steep, close-in seating that puts fans right on top of the action. It anchors Belmont's rise from small Nashville college to a consistent NCAA Tournament contender, and its game-day atmosphere is loud and intimate given the modest capacity. The building also regularly hosts concerts, graduations, and community events befitting Belmont's music-industry ties.

The arena opened in the fall of 2003, funded in large part by a $10 million donation from the Curb Family Foundation and music executive Mike Curb, for whom it is named. It quickly became the launching pad for Belmont's ascent from NAIA and Atlantic Sun membership into a mid-major power, with the Bruins racking up regular-season titles and NCAA Tournament berths out of the Ohio Valley and Missouri Valley conferences. The building's size and sightlines have made it one of the toughest true road environments for visiting mid-major opponents. It remains the centerpiece of Belmont's athletics facilities alongside the university's broader campus expansion.
