Martin Stadium

Martin Stadium is the home football venue of the Washington State Cougars in Pullman, Washington. Tucked into the rolling Palouse hills, it is one of the smaller and most remote stadiums among major-conference programs, giving road trips there a distinctive, isolated college-town feel. On a clear fall Saturday, the surrounding wheat-field scenery makes it one of the most scenic backdrops in college football.

Opened in 1972 (with roots as Rogers Field dating back further), Martin Stadium has hosted the Cougars' Apple Cup rivalry games against Washington and was the backdrop for ESPN College GameDay's first-ever broadcast in 1993. The stadium has been expanded and renovated multiple times over the decades and remains the site of Washington State's biggest home games as the program has navigated conference realignment.
