Saw this puppy on the home page without a review so figured I’d do some research and give it a whirl. Valley Children’s Stadium blends rich Fresno State history with one of the most passionate atmospheres in the Mountain West. Opened in 1980 and expanded in 1991, the venue grew from roughly 30,000 seats to its current capacity of 40,727, with crowds often pushing past 40K and a record 42,881 in 2001. Once known as Bulldog Stadium, the site took on its new name in 2022 through a landmark partnership with Valley Children’s Healthcare (10 years for 10 milly). The steep, intimate bowl keeps noise tight to the field, giving the Bulldogs a long-standing home-field edge and several undefeated home seasons. With strong sightlines, loyal Central Valley fans, and decades of memorable wins, it remains a classic West Coast college football setting built for big nights and louder Saturdays. 🐶
